Within and Between
What is it like
to live within and between?
Those who have been marginalised
and rendered invisible—
situated by multiple locations,
whose social identities may overlap
or conflict in specific contexts—
the complexity, fluidity, temporality,
and density of multiple differences.
Who can speak
about which issues in what contexts?
Joint storytelling in families;
an ongoing process of sense making—
about histories and shared identity.
People navigate difference
and co-create meaning—
marginality is moved toward the centre.
