This is the third day that I've taken my 'real' camera on my morning walks and at the risk of sounding completely full of myself, I do believe that my photography skills are improving.
Aren't these magnolias so very pretty:
Okay, so the focus isn't quite right, but I'm loveing the 'sparkles' in the background:
Amazing how the camera lens pics up things you miss with your naked eye - or perhaps it's just my eye sight? I never noticed the cob webs until I had downloaded this image onto my laptop:
So I'm not fond of the colours in this, but I do like the composition:
Loving this gloomy, dramatic shot:
Then a few minutes later the weather brightens and the mood lifts:
Then lifts some more:
It was high tide and both Molly (the knee-high Cavoodle) and I got soaked - but it was so worth it:
Loving the illusion of infinity in this shot:
Atempting wildlife photography:
These two were fun - if only I had better skills when it comes to focusing on animated subjects:
This could have made for a dramatic shot - had it been better focused:
I have been photographing mushrooms in my forest for months on my iPhone, finally I had the opportunity to capture some shots on my Nikon DSLR:
Here's another similar, but different shot - I just couldn't decide between the two:
